Welcome to DIVING THIS WORLD

We're Tami & Chris, 25 & 26 years old and an adventurous and freedom loving couple. This blog deals with our addiction to diving this world – you'll get to see the beauty of the underwater world as well as stories about our favorite dive spots, diving courses, equipment and so on.

Let's explain how all started and where we got the travel bug: In 2015 we decided to do our first big trip together! We traveled along Australia's coast for nearly 5 months and it was the best decision ever. We experienced a lot together and learned to trust each other in any upcoming situation.

One day we did a sailing trip to the Whitsunday islands, where we had our first Try Dive. It was nothing special, just going underwater for a while and trying not to panic, but anyhow we wanted another dive in Australia, so we booked a ridiculously expensive day trip to the outer Great Barrier Reef and that was amazing.

The reef was not really colorful but there were lots of cute and sometimes even big fishes – so maybe that was our moment we felt in love with the underwater world.

The following years we tried to travel as much as our savings account allowed to and finally made our SSI Open Water Diver on the maltese islands (the second moment we felt in love with something, above and below sea level). Since then we traveled to Malta six times and did some other courses there and lots of dives, just as on some Thai islands and in Egypt.

And here we are, in the year 2020, both working full-time (Chris as an engineer and Tami as an e-commerce manager), having big plans for our future and starting a blog about what we like to do most: DIVING (: Stay tuned to see how our journey will continue.
One thing in advance: In June/July we will complete our Dive Master training in Malta.

We hope that you like our blog and would be happy for any feedback.
